This Bokashi Kitchen Waste Starter Kit will allow you to compost any household food waste. The Bran mix is enriched with effective micro-organisms (EMs) and molasses, which works to ferment the food waste and eliminate any odour during the composting stage, which stands the Bokashi Bin apart from any other composting bin.
Once your cooked and uncooked meats, fish, dairy products and small bones have been fermented, it can be dug into your soil for use as an excellent conditioner. When added to a compost heap, the Bokashi waste will help to accelerate the composting process,
Once the process is complete you will also be left with a liquid which you can use as a plant food. Bokashi Buckets are clean, odourless and simple to use and as the kit includes two bins, you can leave one to ferment whilst filling the other.

I only heard about this bokashi system from my brother in France so i was delighted when i found this online at a decent price. It’s easy to use and my waste bin doesn’t smell anymore as i can put lots of waste in this bin along with the bokashi bran. So far so good. Added bonus to get liquid waste as a concentrated plant feed too. I received the kit really quickly so i was using it within 2 days of ordering. No excess packaging on kit either. Brilliant service. Environmentally friendly too. Have already recommended it to a gardener knowing he’ll spread the word!

I mean, as much as you can love a bin with a tap! I’ve filled the first bin already and waiting for the first compost bin dump. The plant tea smells of vomit but hasn’t killed the plants yet!
