With the Bokashi kitchen bucket, you ferment your own kitchen waste indoors. Collect your kitchen waste in the airtight bucket and sprinkle the layers of waste with Bokashi starter (Not supplied).

The Effective Micro-organisms in the Bokashi starter (sold separately) ensure that the fresh kitchen waste ferments instead of decaying. The rotting and stench that you normally get from conventional buckets are not given a chance in this fermentation process. In exchange, you get good nutrition for the soil life. Within agriculture and horticulture, there is no other sustainable method of getting as much as possible out of the soil as Bokashi.
